The Carthage Arts Walk of Fame’s 1st induction ceremony took position Friday night, honoring its to start with two customers, Wanda Hanszen and Derek Wayne Johnson. Inductees get their individual sidewalk plaque downtown, with the plaques being embedded into present sidewalks outside the house of the Esquire Theater. Hanszen and Johnson were being also honored with keys to the city from Mayor Lin Joffrion. Derek Wayne Johnson is an award-successful director, author, producer and editor originally from Carthage.
