Celebration of culture fills downtown Kalamazoo through annual Black Arts Festival
KALAMAZOO, MI — The Kalamazoo Shopping mall was alive Saturday, July 9 with the appears, sights and flavor of Black lifestyle. Kalamazoo group associates and outside of gathered on the Shopping mall for the 32nd yearly Black Arts Festival hosted by the Black Arts and Cultural Center. Historian Samella Lewis, who supported Black artists, dies at 99
