TWO HARBORS — Artist Micky McGilligan has been working in collage for most of her existence, but only begun making and advertising pieces in the previous five yrs.

Just one of the centerpieces of McGilligan’s exhibit at Lake See is a big display showcasing various collages grouped alongside one another. She reported she’s been pondering about the piece for several years.

“I bought it 20-odd years back and I last but not least made a decision, ‘I’ve acquired this idea. I am retired. I acquired time in the globe to essentially do this detail,” McGilligan claimed. “The concept of it was ‘Fantasy Tends to make Everyday living Bearable,’ so it truly is full of all types of birds and fantastical items on that one particular.”

McGilligan’s visuals come for several various resources such as journals and images, but also from her very own photographs.

“I like to take images of little factors, like moss and styles in the filth in the shade of the sunlight,” McGilligan claimed. “I consider a great deal of landscapes, much too, and styles in matters.
