Muhlenberg University to Host Discussion About Race and the Arts as Portion of Lehigh University’s Traveling Though Black Collection
The event on February 22 is part of a Lehigh Valley-large sequence of discussions and dialogues all around a concept that stays pertinent right now.

Muhlenberg College or university will host a community conversation about the intersection amongst race and the arts on February 22 as part of Traveling Though Black, a sprawling cinematic virtual actuality experience at Lehigh University that is becoming paired with conversations exploring the topic of movement and race from a variety of lenses all over the Lehigh Valley.
The experience is centered all around the movie Touring Although Black, by Academy Award winner Roger Ross Williams, which is displaying at the Zoellner Arts Middle at Lehigh University via Sunday, April 2. (Register below for a timeslot to view a screening) The movie transports viewers to the historic Ben’s Chili Bowl restaurant in Washington D.C., in which diners share individual stories of their own lived activities with race and the restriction of motion.
Zoellner Arts Center Government Director Mark Wilson linked with Roland Kushner, professor of small business with his personal qualified and particular passion for the arts, even though the Muhlenberg professor was collaborating on investigation with school at Lehigh College for the duration of his sabbatical in Spring 2022.
