ENCINITAS Fundraiser Friday for boys water polo workforce The San Dieguito High University Academy boys h2o polo staff is keeping its once-a-year Parents’ Night time Out fundraiser from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday at Cardiff Beach front Bar @ Tower 13. The celebration is sponsored by the San Dieguito Academy Basis and will attribute dwell audio by Oceanside band 40 Evidence setting up at 7:30 p.m. Moreover providing the band, Cardiff Beach front Bar @ Tower 13 is donating 20 p.c of food product sales to the team. Proceeds will go toward devices, match expenses and a goalie mentor. Free of charge entry donations will be taken at the party…

Today (Sept. 23), on Global’s The Morning Show, The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame (CSHF) is inducting the rock classic, What About Love, one of the most successful international hits for the band Heart. The honour goes to the tune’s three Canadian songwriters, Brian Allen, Sheron Alton, and Jim Vallance, and the event features a special appearance by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Heart’s Ann Wilson. As part of the virtual presentation, Toronto artist SATE will perform the song live from the El Mocambo. The track was initially written for the band Toronto (featuring Allen and Alton), but was omitted from that group’s third album. It found its way to Heart, whose 1985 version enjoyed 12 weeks on the…
