The Athens Arts League recently elected its 2022 board of directors officers. Since the organization’s beginning in 2006, their mission has been, “To Aid Artists, Provide Art Instruction and To Provide Cultural Gatherings to Athens and Limestone County Alabama.” The 2022 officers are president Garth Lovvorn, vice president Gail Bergeron, treasurer Vickie Camp, and secretary Jennifer Hilton Sampieri.
Lovvorn is an impartial Attract Inspector working with area banking institutions. He has a extensive background in nonprofit volunteerism courting back again to 2006, which includes Habitat for Humanity in 2006. In 2007, he was named the executive director for Habitat for Humanity wherever he served until eventually 2011.
