Artwork Focus Great Artwork & Customized Framing is internet hosting area photographer Teysha Vinson for March, with an artist reception on Friday, March 4.

Vinson’s present is titled “Here and Further more Still” and attributes images of the Bitterroot Valley, the Bitterroot Mountains and past.  

“Most photos are from here and some are additional,” Vinson explained. “I’ve only lived below a couple of several years but get my digital camera with me as I go around. I adore the landscape.”

Her preference is not to get grand pics that attempt to capture the whole forest but prefers to acquire extra intimate illustrations or photos.

“I’m typically photographing the ground and the grass and crops, a segment of the forest,” she stated. “It’s what’s in entrance of me because I’m quickly enchanted.”

Her illustrations or photos are acquainted, fireweed at Roaring Lion, sagebrush, ponderosa and “that delightful surprise of a waterfall as you come all around the bend up Skalkaho,” she said.

“I’m a sucker for crops catching daylight and I just love that massive glare that will come in,” Vinson said. “I’m okay with accidents and like the movie messing up. I shoot on film typically for the reason that it is a very good workflow for me, and I love the way it seems to be. I’m open up to incidents and idiosyncrasies.”

Vinson attended school as an art key and graduated in images. She also gained her master’s diploma in pictures.

She enjoys the Bitterroot Mountains and hikes the trails with her three younger kids who make it about a mile down each trail.

Vinson mentioned her intention is to depict something more than just the gorgeous landscape.

“I’m hunting for a sense of presence, a thing unseen and poetic I can’t pretty describe but can at times capture on movie,” she stated. “A meditation or a memory, an ‘it was outstanding and then it was gone’ emotion. My hope is that my images are personal landscapes. Tranquil, existing, quotidian and enchanting all at the moment.”
