They are usually considered one of the authentic Southern Rock bands to spring up in the wake of the Allman Brothers Band. Despite the fact that they are underappreciated as opposed to the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, ARS produced 15 quality albums around their 50-yr vocation and reached the peak of their popularity in the late 70s with hits like “So Into You,” “Champagne Jam,” and “Imaginary Lover.” ARS had been assembled by songwriter, producer, and manager Buddy Buie to be the house session band for…
