It was a confrontation with a feminine Michael Jackson supporter that first drew Martin Senkubuge’s interest to the skin issue vitiligo. Senkubuge, a Ugandan artist, was describing his tattoo of the musician to the lady at an art exhibition in Kampala in 2019, when he accused the pop star of bleaching his pores and skin.
