SALAMANCA — Seneca artist Hayden Haynes has been awarded the New York Point out Council on the Arts (NYSCA) Folk and Classic Arts Apprenticeship Grant for Seneca Bone Carving. Haynes and his apprentice, Darelyn Spruce, both equally of the Cattaraugus Territory, ended up a single of 3 artist/apprentice groups to be awarded a part of the $30,000 apprenticeship grant.
