Wailuku town’s Little City Massive Artwork application is seeking proposals for public artwork installations.
Produced through a 2018-2020 Our City grant by the Nationwide Endowment for the Arts, the collaboration in between Maui County and Hale Ho’ike’ike at the Bailey Home Museum/Maui Historical Modern society aims to build a community arts district concentrated on the distinct feeling of put, record and society of Wailuku. Selected artists will be commissioned to create an modern job that engages a various community audience. Candidates may perhaps select from two separate classes:

Just about every challenge is linked to ‘olelo from Mary Kawena Pukui’s “ ’Olelo No’eau: Hawaiian Proverbs and Political Sayings,” in connection with Hale Ho’ike’ike at the Bailey Residence/Maui Historical Society.
