The Des Moines Sign-up and its personnel received 40 awards in the annual Iowa Superior Newspaper Contests, the Iowa Newspaper Association introduced at a banquet Thursday evening.
The Register, which competes from other news outlets of its circulation course, swept the Harrison “Skip” Weber Investigative Reporting Awards group, with investigative jobs winning to start with, 2nd and third destinations.
