In the meantime, Peter not long ago shared how he restored the audio on the Liverpool legends’ music for ‘Get Back’.
The ‘Lord of the Rings’ director explained: “To me the seem restoration is the most enjoyable point. We produced some enormous breakthroughs in audio. We formulated a equipment mastering method that we taught what a guitar seems like, what a bass appears like, what a voice seems like. In fact, we taught the laptop what John [Lennon] appears like and what Paul [McCartney] seems like. So we can choose these mono tracks and split up all the instruments we can just hear the vocals, the guitars. You see Ringo [Starr] thumping the drums in the background but you never hear the drums at all. That that enables us to remix it seriously cleanly.”
